LanguageCert enPro is a set of professional English Language qualifications mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), designed to abide by the most rigorous quality and reliability standards. The exams are intended for non-native English speakers, evaluating their English language proficiency in any work-related, education or training environment. LanguageCert enPro exams can be used to boost a candidates’ employment prospects, provide documented evidence of English language level or simply measure progress before and after training that has been provided by a third-party organisation.

A Listening & Reading exam in Spanish assessing professional competency, aligned to all levels of the CEFR*. Ideal for candidates looking to prove their Spanish language proficiency for work or academic purposes.

Multiple choice
Candidates read a text or listen to a recording and answer questions. Each question has three or four options, only one is correct.
Cloze
Candidates must complete gaps in a text using words or phrases.
Gapped sentences
Candidates complete gaps in sentences by choosing the correct word from four multiple choice options.

CEFR A1
- Can recognise familiar words, everyday expressions and very basic phrases when people speak slowly and clearly.
- Can understand familiar names, words and very simple sentences on familiar topics and obtain information from notices, posters and catalogues.
CEFR A2
- Can understand phrases and the highest frequency vocabulary related to areas of most immediate personal relevance such as basic personal and family information, shopping, local area and employment.
- Can catch the main point in short, clear, simple messages and announcements.
- Can read and understand very short, simple texts such as personal letters.
- Can find specific, predictable information in simple everyday material such as advertisements, prospectuses, menus and timetables.
CEFR B1
- Can understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
- Can understand the main point of many radio or TV programmes on current affairs or topics of personal or professional interest when the delivery is relatively slow and clear.
- Can understand texts that consist mainly of high frequency every day or job-related language.
- Can understand the description of events, feelings and wishes in personal letters.
CEFR B2
- Can understand extended speech and lectures and follow complex lines of argument, provided the topic is reasonably familiar.
- Can understand most TV news, current affairs programmes and the majority of films in standard dialect.
- Can read articles and reports concerned with temporary problems in which the writers adopt particular attitudes or viewpoints.
- Can understand contemporary literary prose.
CEFR C1
- Can understand an extended speech even when it is not clearly structured and when relationships are only implied and not signalled explicitly.
- Can understand TV programmes and films without too much effort.
- Can understand long and complex factual and literary texts, appreciating distinctions of style.

Part 1 : Interview
Task:
- Candidates discuss themes such as their background, education, job, studies, career plans and personal interests
Part 2 : Presentation
Task:
- Candidates give a short presentation for 1 minute about a work-related topic
- They choose from 1 of 3 topics provided by the examiner
- They have 1 minute to read the 3 topics, choose 1 and make some notes
- The examiner will ask candidates a question after they have finished speaking
Part 3 : Information exchange and discussion
Task:
- Candidates role-play a situation with the examiner before discussing a similar topic
- They have 1 minute to read the instructions given to them by the examiner
- The purpose of the test is to demonstrate Spanish ability and not topic knowledge
